Usb to serial adapters
I have a small pos system and my new computer doesn't have a serial port, and i can't put one in but i have 3 diffrent usb to serial and none of them open my cash draw, with some research i found the voltage drop not to be enough, my other computers have a 10 volt drop to open the cash draw, the serial adapters only drom about one volt which is not enough to open it,
Are there any adapters out there that have external power suppy that would bring up the voltage, my other computers have 11v in stand by and drop to 1v when triggered but the usb adapter has a stand by of 6v and at trigger drops to 5v, so please help Thank you in advance Simon |
