[SOLVED] Can not ID this cable, Please help.

I have a cable that has a nine pin female connector and a very small male stero connector (see below). At first I though it was a conn. that I couls use to bring out to a set of ext. speakers from my labtop, but I am not sure.

Can you ID this cable for me please.
