Couple questions, monitor and computer shutdown
Hello all.
Question 1. Recently the company I work for has had 6 Dell monitors die. After doing extensive research I have found the monitors aren't dead but probably have a backlight issue related either to the CCFLs or the inverter board capacitors. My question is how on earth do I get the monitor apart? I can't seem to find any way to pop it open, there are no screws.... and I'm afraid of doing damage. The monitor is Model E153FPc, its a 15 inch LCD. Question 2. We have also been having trouble with one of our machines continuously shutting down. No error, no lock ups, just powered off. I replaced the PSU thinking that was the cause, but with in days it was exhibiting the same problem. What else could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance for any insight or helpful tips!
