computer not booting up
i apologise first off if this has already been posted elsewhere that i should have found without creating a new thread.
anyway, i have got a few problems with my spare PC. I have not used it for probably 12 months but am going to start using it again. i have checked the hardware connections on the inside before i even turned the computer on and everything is seated firmly. i turn the computer on and i can hear the fans going, but i do not get the POST go through as there is no beep. i have also nothing coming up on the monitor as that is just on standby. if anyone has any ideas on what i can try then please let me know on here. thanks everyone for looking. |

Re: computer not booting up
simbac, that's a good idea to see if it boots up with just the motherboard and CPU to see if loads up, i will leave the RAM out also as it should give me a fault beep and then at least i can start to diagnose where the fault is.
