Re: PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!monitor sleep
I'm sorry....I was still looking at page one...thanks. There is no monitors listed in safe mode .....OK . Does your monitor have an "Auto" Setting on the front panel. If so, Have you tried to press it while booted in normal mode? Also, do you have this hooked up on a VGA or DVI cable?

Re: PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!monitor sleep
I know what you are talking about. Where you plug it into the video card, how many ports do you have. Are they all the same? DVI has round pins and long pins, VGA just ahs round pins.

Re: PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!monitor sleep
Have you gone into you ATI Control Panel and set the resolution to a lower level yet? We know that you Monitor is fine and that you video card is fine! This is defiantely a Settings Issue. I believe it is a resolution issue. When you boot into safe mode, windows loads the default Windows Drivers and everything is fine. When you boot normally, Windows is trying to load the ATI Drivers and I am thinking that the resolution that the Video Card is set at is too high for the monitor to handle. If you are able to go into the ATI Panel and set the resolution to a lower level (Not Necessarily 800x600) but somethin low on the range. ATI and windows will probably load fine...try this and see if it will let you adjust?
