monitor resolution problem
Just installed Win XP Pro... but cannot change the resolution or color settings beyond the minimums. I spent three weeks trying to get this comp working right and finally took it to a tech to wipe the HD and installed Win XP Pro clean but now I am stuck in the min mode. I pulled up the driver for the monitor. Now where do I install the driver... I did a search for "new hardware" and it went into eternal search mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: monitor resolution problem
Hi AlaskanWolf!
![]() Welcome to TSF ![]() Did you try to check for the graphic driver for your computer? Is there any graphic or motherboard installation cd with you? Try to check out whether there is a driver inside that. Or you can also run the Everest and post the specifications of your computer here so that we can find the driver for you ![]()
