Printer Problems...

Hey Guys.. a little problem..

My Printer (HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One) is connected to my router so that it works on my PC and my Laptop. BUT.. my dad installed all the drivers with the CD that came with the printer but then when it came to installing it on my PC.. he lost the CD's. So then i started searching the web for Drivers and all and i finally got one. I couldn't install it without my Laptop being on. My Printer only works when my Laptop is On and that's the problem i want to fix. In "Printers and Faxes" it says that there is a Present Printer but it says "Status : Unable To Connect" . So yeah , i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. And just for extra information.. When i just want to print a page , it brings me to the "Print Wizard" and it asks me Which printer i want to use and there's only ONE option. And the option is.. "//LAPTOP/HP Photosmart C5100 Series" then when i click Next.. it tells me "The following error occured while the wizard was attempting to print your pictures : The RPC Server Is Unavailable"

Thanks ,
