CD ROM drive literally taking minutes to launch games from cds !?!?!?!
In my new comp i put in a brand new Aopen 52x32x52x16 Chameleon CD reader/writer/rewrited and dvd reader. It has no problems on autorun or installing games or reading files from cds or dvds. Also when i run a game ona dvd rom like Richard Burns Rally or Far Cry the game starts ip instantly like normal but if i run a game on a cd rom like F1 Challenge or Raven Sheild the drive spins up and reads the cd but it stays like this for seriously 2 minutes or so before EVENTUALLY launching the game.
Anyone know why it does this, im not very patient and its really annoying me !
