tv tuner card and broadband internet
is it possible to have a tv tuner card AND a braodband connection? I'm using rogers right now and i am connected through the same jack as my TV connection.

For cable Internet, I recommend that you run a cable directly from the service entrance to the broadband modem. Obviously, you need to use the 2:1 splitter to route service to any/all TV's you have. That's the best scenario for broadband connections.
