does anyone know the equation or formula to work out fhe fuse ratings of pc equipment?

P = E x I or in your case I = P/E whereas current ( I ) is the dividend of P ( power in watts ) divided by E ( volts ). You'll want the fuse to be rated slightly above the resultant I figure to prevent nuisance fuse blowing. This is applicable to any electrical circuit.
