Wireless mouse question

If I have a Microsoft Optical wireless mouse 1000, does it turn it off when I'm afk? because I leave my computer on 24/7.

Re: Wireless mouse question

I don't know about this particular model, but most wireless mice power down into a sort of standby mode after a few minutes, and are reactivated by moving the mouse or clicking a button. This is one of the reasons I switched from a wireless Logitech MX1000 to a wired Logitech G9.
