Keyboard dosnent with new mouse
Often when I turn on my computer, the keyboard doesn’t turn on (since I bought a new mouse) so I have to keep restarting till it does work.
pls help

check the device manager for yellow flags..[conflicts]
click view then show hidden devices. make sure the correct mouse is listed in the manager, or at least a generic plug and play. also, make sure you have pnp and all usb lines enabled in your bios.

oh the brand of the mouse is Logitech and i dont know the brand of the keyboard... It happened with the keyboard with the original computer and i bought a new keyboard and it still dosent work!!! can someone reply before monday night in england because i need this assigment in!!!!

Well. Hopefully you haven't thrown out your old mouse yet. ;)
I had a similar situation come up where the W key would stop working (after using a new mouse). What I did was go to the device manager and remove the keyboard and reboot allowing windows to reinstall the keyboard drivers. If that doesn't work you could always download the keyboard drivers online and install them. (yes, keyboards come with drivers nowdays) |
