Wireless mouse & keyboard--non-responsive
I have been experiencing some problems with my MS Wireless Desktop (mouse, keyboard, & receiver). I have looked through the forum threads and there does not appear to be anyone who has specifically asked about rf interference and what can be done to fix it. The MS Desktop equipment operates at the 27 MHz range, which is the same band range as the 'Citizens Band' frequencies. My neighbor has started putting up anntennas, and I believe that the disruption in service that I've now started to experience (sluggish, or non-responsive mouse & keyboard) is due to the rf signals coming from his equipment. I have tried to shield the receiver by placing it in a can (pointed at the mouse and keyboard) and running a ground wire from this shield (the can) to my computer chassis. This hasn't helped. Other than reverting back to a wired mouse & keyboard, does anyone have a suggestion? I have changed batteries in both the mouse and keyboard.
