Dimension 2300

My girlfriend has a Dell Dimension 2300 and she's just tried to open the case so she can remove one of the drives.

The problem is, she can't open one side of the case to remove the screws that hold the drive in place. I'm not there to take a look but she says the only way to replace the drive would damage the case and i'm wondering if anyone can help by telling me how to open the case other side safely.

Thanks.

Re: Dimension 2300

Not familiar with that case.,but she may have to remove the rack
its screwed to. Then you slide the rack "housing" out and unscrew
the drive. Some of that stuff can be like a rubix cube.

Re: Dimension 2300

Yeah...would be nice if it is in a rack. If not, to get the other side off, you will have to remove the front bezel to unveil screws for the other side. Manic is right...RUBIX CUBE!

I hate manufacturers for that reason heh...they don't want you messing with anything. At least Dell's newer stuff is completely screwless!
