*Christmas Emergency* SD Cards in Digital Picture Frames

I bought 5 digital picture frames for my friends and family for Christmas. So I got 5 frames and 5 512MB Sandisk SD cards. None of the new cards work in the new frames. The only card I can get to work is the one from my older, larger frame. ANy of the new cards will work fine for the old frame, but not for the new one. I have ended up using the old 512 Digital Media brand for one of the new frames, just so I can give it away.

I even went and bought some 1GB Digital Media brand cards, thinking for some wierd reason that it didn't like the Sandisk cards. So now I have something like 8 memory cards and 4 digital picture frames that I can do nothing with.

I have tried loading the pictures different ways, like from my Mac, from my PC, I stuck one in my camera and uploaded it through there. I am completely dumb-founded.

Anyone have any ideas?

This is a Christmas emergency.

Did the frames come with any formating software? What file format is the card that works, fat , fat32 , ntfs? You may have to format the cards before they will work in the frames.
