UPS & hydronic furnace
I'm installing a woodburning, hotwater heating, outdoor furnace and need a backup power supply to keep furnace AC pump (less than 1 amp) going in case of power outage. Any ideas whether a UPS system could provide backup power to keep pump circulating water/antifreeze inside furnace (optimally for 5 hrs or more)? Goal is to take away @ 10,000 BTU per hour from furnace until closed damper lowers furnace temperature. A freshly loaded furnace could take up to 8 hrs. Thanks for any insights.

Any of the decent ups' from Tripplite or APC should be able to provide 1a for that amount of time, though none of them are outdoor rated.
