Confused Camera Firmware

Hello, I have a Linksys wvc54gc wireless camera and i am trying to update the firmware on it. It keeps telling me that the firmware update failed.

What could cause a firmware update to fail?

Re: Camera Firmware

Noticed your post, and no replies....If you have anything running in the background (antivirus, spybot, ZoneAlarm, Firewall etc) then you'll need to turn it off. You'll also need to logged in as the administrator to both your computer and the camera in order for the update to work. Try updating in safe mode w/networking support if all else fails. I can't say I've ever run into a problem updating firmware from Linksys.
