problems with wireless network card and pci slot hardware conflict
i took my wireless card out a few weeks ago to clean out dust from the case fan and the heatsink and fan to processor. the plug for the case fan is underneath the pci bottom slot 3. i forgot that pci cards have 2 stages where it goes in but then needs an extra push to actually be in so it was only in half way. i found out today that the card wasnt working and i tried to see what the problem was. it looked tight and secure but it there was no power lights activated. so i took it out and took out my pci sound card on slot 2 and stuck the wireless card into that slot. i booted and it activated. then i put it back into the original slot 3 (it was then i realized that it was a 2 step process) and now it has memory confliction that gives me 2 options to go into setup or resume boot. i have already tried to remove the whole card from windows devices and reinstall it but it gives me a code 10 - cant start. is there anyway that any of you can help me to get rid of the error message on boot and get rid of code 10 and get it working again?
