Cd-rom prob

Hi all, my pc is 2 months old, and has been working just fine, but now my cd-rw wont read or spin my discs, when i put a disk in the lights flash and i can hear it trying to spin the disc but nothing happens, i have checked all cables r connected properly inside and have tried a lens cleaner but it wont run the disc, also it isnt reading then either, Thanks if any1 can help.

check for any yellow marks alongside of it in the device manager,if there are click on it and check the properties and see what it says is wrong.
if there are no yellow marks uninstall it then right click and scan for hardware changes and see if it works whan windows finishes reinstalling it
