Storm screwed up computer
Hey,
Just yesterday we had a nasty storm around these parts, and several quick power blackouts occured, to which the computer was subject to about 2, shutting the machine off. Now, when its on, for some reason certain programs won't work (Steinberg Nuendo, Microsoft Word), and I can't load internet sites from the address bar in IE (though I can access them through links from other sites). IE freezes up if I type in an address in the URL bar. I originally thought it could be poor power or something, but why would all the websites work just not through the address bar? Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks for your time. |
