join 2 scsi cables together

Hi,

i have one question. Is it possible to join 2 SCSI cables together so i will get 3 m long cable instead od 1.5.

I have 2 SCSI cables (DB25-male on one end and CN50-male on the other).
I also have CN50 to HD50 converter and DB25 to HD50 converter.

I have HD50 on my scsi card, DB25 and CN50 on my scanner.

I was wondering if i could join those 2 DB25 connectors on my cables together (how would the pins connect?)

I belive this could be done, but I'm not sure if there are and extension adapters to use or how the pin-out is wired. I'll look around a bit later tonight.
