[SOLVED] USB header question
On a standard 9 pin USB motherboard header, is it ok to connect just one side (4 pins, 1 USB connection) without causing any problems. Part of the header is underneath the video card heatsink and if that side is connected wires will be brushing against the heatsink fins and may get too hot.

Yes, that is fine. It is really two rows of the same thing. Just remember to plug it in the right way.
You might actually want to look at an angled USB header cable. Those are available. I actually have one and can take a picture if you want to get an idea of what I mean.
