DUal screen monitor issue
Hey I've been trying to get a mate DGM 17 inch monitor to work, and recently had a little bit of luck so decided to try it dual scree. Now when I connected it up dual screen it would end up with the display being bigger than the screen, roughly 4 times bigger. the only way I have got it anyway half right is to set it to 57 hertz, and then force it to display 1280 by 1024. if I let it just display what it thinks it's capable of it'll only have 640 by 480.
I also get the odd little bit of fliockering on the monitor thats set to secondary. I've tried both monitors in both of the sockets on the gfx card. My card is an ATI radeon HD 2600. Any help would be appreciated. |

Re: DUal screen monitor issue
There are settings in the Display Properties, Settings tab, Advanced section that allow you to tailor the parameters for each monitor. It also allows you to set up different drivers for each monitor and decide the relationship between monitors and which monitor is primary.
If the flickering is on one monitor, it is possible that monitor needs to be degaussed. If the flickering is on whichever monitor is connected to a particular jack, then there may be a problem with that connector. If the flickering changes just by resetting which monitor is secondary without changing any hardware, then I couldn't begin to guess what might cause the problem.
