System Error
I have a friend's Toshiba Satellite laptop here. When it's first turned on, it beeps continuosly until the XP splash screen comes up. I called the Toshiba support line and of course they charge for tech support since the system is out of warrenty. My only guesses are a keyboard error or a RAM error. I wanna be sure before i begin to break apart the computer to see what the real deal is. Anyone got any ideas???

Hi James, and welcome to TSF!
 Download Memtest86 (the ISO in a zip file is easiest) and burn it to a CD. Let run for about 10 passes and see if it finds any errors.
