Monitor blacking out?
My monitor really isn't that old...maybe 3 or so years, yet recently when I move my mouse to bring it back up from power save mode, the screen flashes then goes black. The light on the bottom near the power button is green, yet I can't see anything. The only way I have found to fix it is to randomly take in and out the power cord that goes to the wall and the cable that plugs into the computer itself. It has become extremely annoying. I have a flat screen LCD by Envision if that helps.
Anyone know what to do to stop this? |

Re: Monitor blacking out?
Instead of unplugging the PC cable, try turning it off by pressing the power button for a few seconds. Turn it back on and see if the problem persists.
If not, allow your monitor to go to power save mode (set it to a really low time) and see if the problem persists once again. Turn off the PC, turn it back on and check if it's still black. Maybe it's the OS. |
