[SOLVED] Trouble with keyboard symbols (apparently not related to language)
Hi.
So Im having a terrible time trying to configure my keyboard. Its got the symbols all screwed up (note how I lack the use of apostrphes (sp?)) I tried changing the language settings to english, spanish.. and I still get the same shift layout for symbols no mater what language I choose. I-m using a spanish keyboard which keys should go something like this... 1 - ! 2 - " 3 - # 4 - (dollar sign) 5 - (percentage) 6 - (and symbol) 7 - / 8 - ( 9 - ) 0 - = but instead, what I got is this shift layout... 1 - ª 2 - " 3 - / 4 - ( 5 - ) 6 - ¡ 7 - ! 8 - ¿ 9 - ? 0 - ₧ - is = _ is % its all screwed up! what can I do? |

This leads me to the Speed set up, and the Hardware set up. Since the problem isn-t speed, I go to Hardware. In hardware I have the following data. Standard Keyboard 101-102 keys or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard Then on properties I have Developer: Standard Keyboard Location: Plugged to the Keyboard port Device Status: This device works correctly Problem Solver (which never works) and Properties I don-t know where I should change the Keyboard settings to US. But if you mean the lower-right corner, it IS on US configuration. I also tried plugging another Keyboard, and I still get the same problem |
