Hi,
I would like to get a wireless desktop set, I use my computer for office work and I work many hours, scrolling doucments, typing, etc.... I found a reasonably priced set from BenQ, the x530, I would like to have your advice before I purchase I wireless desktop. what is your expericne, what do you recommned, which desktop set would save battery use? How long do you think will the batteries last if I use it for office work? Or is wireless just for those who use their PCs an hour a day? Thank you

Re: Is it for me
this is the wireless desktop i use and have had it for well over 12mths now, it uses "AA" batteries and I think i have changed them about twice maybe 3 times. I went out and got 2 sets of batteries, 1 set of rechargeables and a normal set that i put in till the others have charged.
I don't think i could go back to a wired setup now. This is my second wireless setup, the first died a horrible death when my kids dropped the mouse on the floor. I like the microsoft stuff but I am told logitech is also good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823109034

Re: Is it for me
I have a logitech set-the mouse has a stand that acts as the receiver and a battery charger for the mouse. I had the set for two years before I had to change the batteries (2 AA) in the keyboard. Wasn't full time office use but is a lot of use over two years

Re: Is it for me
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. I bought the Benq x530 today and I am using it now. So far I have enjoyed working with it. Hopefully the batteries will last long enough ![]() I bought it for €20.00. A fantastic price.
