Slow scrolling with mouse in IE7 only
Whenever I try to use the middle scroll wheel on my wireless mouse in IE7, it lags terribly behind. It's only been in the last few months. It scrolls fine in other apps like Excel, Word, etc. When I go to the Control Panel and change the mouse settings for the middle scroll wheel to try different line settings, I get an error message after clicking Apply and OK (upon exiting the setup). The error is, "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close". I don't know that there is a direct correlation but seems pretty suspicious to me. Any ideas how to fix the scrolling in IE?
Thanks. jlabram |

Re: Slow scrolling with mouse in IE7 only
try disabling visual styles in tools>internet options>advanced tab. There seems to be quite a few IE7 slowdowns. This is a known issue
This is a bit unrelated, but try clicking the scroll wheel. If it's a click wheel mouse, clicking it locks the scroll-the scoll speed will be controlled by how fast you move the mouse |
