wireless mouse and keyboard help

Hi. I need help with a new wireless keyboard/mouse combo I bought for my uncle. It's an ione Gemini/Q1 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823330002 The problem is that I can't get it to connect. My computer recognizes the receiver but the mouse or keyboard won't connect. I tried it on his computer and got it to work for a few seconds then nothing. It won't work on mine either. Can it be because of my wireless router? which is also 2.4Ghz.

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard help

Yes, it could be because they are the same frequency.

In your manual, try re-syncing the keyboard and mouse to the receiver. If you never did this, this is prob why. If you are doing it right and still nothing, it could be that something in your new equipment is defective.

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard help

Yes I tried re-syncing them. I did exactly what the manual said. I pressed the button on the receiver, it starts blinking, then press the button on the mouse or keyboard, supposed to blink faster to confirm completion but doesn't and stops. It simply doesn't work. I guess I'm going to have to RMA it.. $6 restocking fee and $7 shipping..... T_T
