(resolved)Out Of Range-error on monitor

I was simply working on my computer, when I went into a program that changed the color on the screen-everything looked really funny, so I went to desktop properties and changed the resolution apparently to something it cant support as it is an older pc, the monitor is a Daytek 57A and after clicking apply to that setting, the screen went black and there is a greenish box with the words OUT OF RANGE
red | blue | green (boxes of color)
H: 30-54KHz
V: 50-120Hz
This box also keeps floating around the screen as if its a screen saver, I have tried rebooting into safemode, not working and I absolutely cannot do anything the buttons on the monitor are not even working! I need help!!!
Thanks in advance for any response! :)

Re: Out Of Range-error on monitor

You would be surprised how many people put one thing in the profile and post about another machine.

Can you try another monitor on this machine?

Re: Out Of Range-error on monitor

Hey thanks a bunch for all the help, but a tech guy finally came and he just reformatted the whole computer-which needed to be done anyway, and then by putting XP on it the monitor was for sure not capatable. So anyway I got a different monitor that can handle to resolution and its all good!
