Idea Re: rar files?

I don't know why your having problems installing it, I have always found it very quick and easy in a couple of clicks, try shutting down any running processes then try again, it might be something running causing the problem, failing that I believe 7zip can handle .rar files, hope this helps.

Re: rar files?

This is what I use.
http://peazip.sourceforge.net/index.html
Works great for all archived files I have used it on so far. And it is free for Windows and Linux.
