Hi,
We are going carzy out here on our archaeological field project in the Dominican Republic because our Brother MFC-210C refuses to do anything but display the error message "paper jam" although there is not actually any paper jam. We have followed all instuctions by brother to solve the problem, but can find no paper anywhere or anything else wrong. Have tried to unplug it for a while to without any effect. Please can anyone help? (and saying "just take it to the nearest Brother dealer" is not helpful as we are sitting in a small town near the Hatian border, the shop it was bought in is 5 hours drive away and they say they can't help, and we can't call US free 0800 numbers from here either). Many Thanks, divingdane Last edited by divingdane : 03-26-2007 at 12:56 PM. Reason: forgot detail |

Re: Brother MFC 210C incorrect error message
Did you ever resolve this problem? My 210-C is now doing the same thing (July 2008): reporting a paper jam when there is none. I'm on a fixed pension and would like to avoid a costly repair or replacement.
Thanks for any help you can give. |
