Pda Help
i have a zire 71 pda. it was givin to me for free by a friend, dont know if it works. never had a cable for it. just got a cable to charge it with. first plugged it in the computer through usb. it said "usb device found but it malfuctioned." does that mean that the power unit is fryed or does it mean it could need a new battery. because it shouldnt matter through usb, if its being powered through usb. i tryed plugging it into the wall it didnt turn on or anything. im not sure i should get another battery or just junk it.
P>S> i know zire 71 is old but i would still like to get it to work. so please dont tell me to junk it just because its old. thank u |

Here is the page for your Zire. You need to download the hotsync software to get the computer to talk to the Zire. You can also find the manual here.
