4 Way Scrolling...

I just bought the Microsoft Wireless Laser 8000.

Reason i bought it is I am a gamer and wanted the freedom of wireless with as many buttons as I could get for a decent price.

Now the 8000 already has 5 programable buttons... but I was wondering... is there a way to reprogram or reassign the horizontal left and right scrolling to be 2 extra buttons that I could use?

Also... it seems the middle button is acting strange. (forgive me first time wireless here).

Every other button and scroll works perfect but the middle button (scroll button) sometimes requires me to press it 2 or 3 times for it to work. And what I meen by this is I have commands attached to each button in a game.

Hi,

Have a look at this program and see if it will allow 4-way scrolling.

I have used it, but I have never tried to configure it for what you want. It is just a plug in for the control panel. Go into the Mouse part and there will be more options.
