acer 620p error code 2882L1118
Running xp/pro. Compter expertly cleaned up, memory added now when I attempt to scan it spits out "Read image data falure. Re-start scanner". No good. Tried scanner on laptop, OK. Uninstall-re-installed driver with original disc. Same! Again with Benq's latest driver, rebooted. Same!! Removed and uninstalled all reference to scanner from reg, programs & files. Ran a regclean and anti-virus program, re-installed and rebooted. Same!!! Cables Ok as scan program opens and detects scanner. Disabled WIA. Same!!!! Do not have system restore point previous to clean-up date. Benq no help. Can anyone pull a bunny out of this hat?
