HELP ME! Microsoft Wireless with KVM Switch
I have 2 computers hooked up with a kvm switch. I recently bought a new Microsoft wireless Keyboard and mouse. (entertainment desktop 7000).
now my old wireless keyboard and mouse worked just fine thru the kvm switch, i just hit scroll lock and there was my other computer. now my new keyboard has a scroll lock key but does not toggle between computers when i hit it. (the key is working as when i hit it it is dispalyed on the computer) will this ever work, is ther something i can do to fix this or should i just take this new stuff back to the store and try something else?

Wireless keyboards sometimes don't work properly with KVM switches. You could try other keys like caps-lock and numlock, but I doubt those will work either.
If your old keyboard set works just fine, you might want to just stick with that. Or, you could look into getting a manual KVM switch, which you will need to press a button on the KVM, but it should work with your new keyboard. |

Thanks for the help
Thanks for all the help evry1! I have decided to go with a manual kvm switch as you said and I will see if that works. I had originally purchased a new keyboard with blue tooth so that obviously did not work with a KVM switch. I still want to go wireless tho.
