Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.33GHz Question...
I am getting a new laptop my desktop is single core but my laptop procecor is Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7600G Overclocked to 2.66GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB it is already ordered, this is good yes? Also I have a question my friend says that it is 2.66 becaouse it is dual core doesnt this mean it is twice that amount, the power of about 5.2 ghz?

Hi,
That is currently the best mobile processor being manufactured right now. It would be about equal to an E6400 in performance. 667 MHz is the fastest bus speed for Mobile Intels, and even though the 1600 MHz FSB of a Mobile Athlon 64 4000+ @ 2.6 GHz for example, would be faster, even one core of that processor you have is more powerful than the Mobile Athlon. With dual core, you are having two processing cores running at the advertised speed.
