Bit of help required please

Hi, the internal speaker in my PC is beginning to play up a little bit, and I'm not sure why. It keeps making a 'drilling' noise if I run more than two programs at once, and it does this again and again before it switches itself off. I think that it may be because of overheating, but the cpu temp looks ok.
Any help or insight would be gratefully appreciated!

Thanks,
Matt

Next time it does this, try unplugging the keyboard. If the sound goes away, you have a stuck key.

POlease post make and model of the computer.

Thanks, I'll try that out and see what happens.

Hi, Ive just tried that and it still comes up with the 'drilling' sound. Upon taking a closer look, it appears that the fan has somehow detached from the graphics card (god knows how that happened!) do you think that may have something to do with it? I'll need to do a bit of research into the computer as I'm not too technical and it was specially built for me.
But I am starting to think it may be due to overheating now. what does everyone else think?

Thanks,
Matt

That fan being off can be a big problem if you have a fast video card.
Remove all power from the pc. Open it and inspect all the fans. Let us know what you find.
