(French request) "RAM" or "Value RAM" ? >> RAM Kingston for Laptop Toshiba

Hello,

I have just acquired a portable PC "Toshiba Satellite 1670 CDS - 550 MHz". Unfortunately, it has only 32 Mo of RAM, and I wish to extend it to his maximum value, that is to say 160 Mo (yes it is little unfortunately).

The reference of the RAM applicable to this machine is "KTT-SO100/128I" (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Kingst...KTT_SO100_128I) and one finds it only around 80 euros (It is well too expensive).

However, the following comment of a purchaser (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=09842) give again me hope all while making me doubt > > it speaks about "Value RAM", also manufactured by Kingston, compatible for this portable. The reference of this Value RAM is "KVR100X64SC2/128" (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Kingst...R100X64SC2_128), and it costs approximately 40% less! It has the same specifiactions as the normal RAM, but much less expensive. This person seemeed to say beeing sad by buying the normal RAM (KTT-SO100/128I) whereas Value RAM (KVR100X64SC2/128) works as much (he would have tested the 2 types of RAM on his machine).

What do you think of the RAM Kingston (recognized, swindles)? What is the "Value RAM" (bonds, less solid?, differences with the normal RAM)? Also, do you have good sites specialized in the sale of RAM (under guarantee) at low prices (I found that bonds towards Kingston)?

Thank you ! (auto-translation, so excuse their english lol).
