Hi everyone. This issue I have is rather difficult to solve and requires professional assistance. It seems that last week my CD-ROM and CD-RW drives no longer appear in My Computer. As I investigated the issue further, I found that that there is an error in the device manager:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device. The same message appeared for BOTH drives. So far I have tryed uninstalling and then re-installing the drives, enabling only one of them, and neither seem to work! Your help will be greatly appreciated. Throw me some advice guys! |
