scratches on monitor

is there anything i can do about a couple scratches that have accumulated over the past couple months? am i pretty much stuck with it, or is there some kind of product that can help.

u probaly scratched the glare coating, im not sure what will fix it but dont use rubbing alcohol

is there any kind of option, maybe taking that top layer off the screen and replacing it maybe? im not sure if the screen can be replaced too easily only becuase its my dads new imac, where the monitor and cpu are all in the monitor.

ahh looks like a majority of those products are cleaners. they do have ones to take off scratches of ipods and ibooks, but how effective do you think itd be?

Warranty will not cover scratches, and I don't know of any product that will remove scratches from an LCD screen.

i baught the extended warrenty for my moniter and i got a small scratch on it and the took it back and gave me a new one, but the warrenty cost me $70 can

Just a thought - never tried it but Brasso is supposed to be the best thing for removing scratches on cds. it's a liquid brass polish with a very fine abrasive. it buffs the scratches out.

Normally, neither would I but it's the only way you'll get scratches out. I doubt that they can be filled transparently and it really depends on how deep/wide they are
