Logitech G5 Laser mouse and it's weights!
This may be kind of wierd, but, my cousin has this mouse and loves it to death. (even though the right mouse button sticks cause it's been obused so much) The thing he can't figure out is the weights. What configuration is best for playing Battlefield 2? Where can he go to get advice or examples? Anyone that knows please reply.

The configuration which is best depends on your cousin and what he prefers. It's purely and simply a matter of what he likes best. If he wants the mouse to be heavy, and thus harder to move, he should put more weights in. If he wants it light, and thus easier to move, he should put fewer weights in. It has nothing to do with the game or the system or anything - it's purely a matter of preference, and can only be solved by him trying configurations until he finds one he's happy with.

Ok. Then why have the weights? It seems that if no matter what configuration you put in there it's all going to be the same. Oh well. Grats Logitech on making something totally not needed. lol

If you need to have a mouse that is slow, change the resoulution. I dont know why they have weights... Maybe because some people like heavy mice and some dont... At least you get everything you can for your money!
