Hey everyone
.I have been assigned an essay on touchscreens, and have done most of it, but am left at a loss with manufacturers of touchscreens of the Strain Gauge variety. I have spent literally hours on the web trying to find one manufacturer of a Strain Gauge touchscreen. I really need help, does anyone know a few makers of Strain Gauge touchscreens? Thanks very much in advance

I think with respect to touchscreens, the strain gauge would be independent of the actual screen. One would simply mount any touchscreen at each corner to a strain gauge to measure the deflection when pressed. I don't know much about strain guage manufacturers though, sorry. But I have never seen a touchscreen with a built-in strain gauge, nor have I heard of one. I think it's more of something the manufacturer would do in a lab to test the deflection.
