Does anyone know how to connet a KVM switch with a wireless mouse and keyboard? Or is this possible?

I have a Belkin 2-port kvm Switch w/ built in cabling. But mine is a regular plug in to the back of the computer. Not a USB port plug in. do they have a plug in to attach to my switch and will it work or do i have to change the whole thing?

I was told by Belkin to get F1DS102U and this will work with a wireless keyboard /mouse. But i'm going to get 2 of the ADP-5200 Adapter that Dia said first and the wireless key/mouse and see if that will do the job. That will save me some money. If it works, i'll let you know.
Thank You! |

IF I can be of any help let me know , I have a 4 port Belkin and althogh I don't have a wireless keyboard I do have a wireless mouse.
All works more or less fine except for when changing PC's .. then the mouse seems to play up a bit and the screen jumps for a second. Haven't used a wired mouse. Anyway, we can compare how things work!

What part does not fit?
Can you connect the cables on the KVM to your computers? can you connect the cables from the keyboard and mouse wireless device to the kvm switch? Please tell me what type of connection you have (ie USB or PS2) at 1. the end of the kvm cables (don't worry about the video connection) 2. the main body of the kvm 3.your computer connections you want to plug into 4. the end of the leads from your wireless senders With this info we will be able to solve your problem

You say uou don't have USB so I am assuming that you have this
Welcome to Belkin - Omniview 2-Port KVM Switch with Built-In Cabling, PS/2 ![]() The cables shown in the picture are the cables that connect to the computers, plugging in to graphics, Keyboard & mouse positions. Your wireless system & Monitor should have their own cables which plug in the front sockets shown. Since you mention that it's the wireless system that doesn't seem to fit can you explain why? You say you don't have USB.

Sorry, It is a F1DL102P. It has the sound plug in on the front also. And the plugs are USB F To PS2 M Adapter (mice & keyboard only) ADP-5200. They are the same size as my mouse & keyboard plug ins.
It is a PS2. I want to beable to plug in my cordless key boread & Mouse. and have it work with THIS PS2. But can't manage to get it to work. I'm new on this stuff. Sorry! But the ADP 5200 plug does plug into theconnector of the wireless Key Board & Mouse. Where does that end go? I'll try to hook it up while I wait for an answer. |

The KVM is PS2 Whilst the PC's can take the PS2 connections for the mouse and keyboard, the USB from the wireless won't fit the KVM. Currently an adapter has been acquired to adapt the USB to PS2. I am not sure whether the signalling from the USB into the PS2 will allow for separate identification mouse and Keyboard code. If it can't neither will work. Belkin have advised a USB vesrion of the KVM but it doesn't have audio outputs.
