sonic is unreachable

i have sonic record now 7.3 on my nec comp dont know what the cd rom is but it was working fine for 5 months now it comes up with no recorder check drive when u hit check for drives it says turn off any running applications and when u hit ok thats it nothing have tryed new engine patchs uninstalled drive rebooted and haeps of other hair pulling stunts cant get anything to happen ready to totally delete it from comp and download nero or somethig have media player and that works ok but just frusting that cant get this sonic to run have tryed 29 times to contact sonic they verify my email address when i ask for my password they say it has been sent to my email but i get nothing can anyone help please.......

Ditch Sonic. I've got MyDVD, and it only wants to work when it wants to. I can't get in touch with Sonic/Roxio either. I'm glad I've got Nero as well.

finally fixed the bloody thing found site and downloaded the new px 2 engine and hey presto it works......thanks for nothing sonic

I've got that engine. It still doesn't want to work all of the time.
