Windows isn't booting

Okay, my friend's computer broke out of nowhere. I've checked all cords, reset bios, and tried booting off of a Windows disk and still nothing. I can't find any problems and still, no boot. Help would be much appreciated.

For us to properly assess your friend's computer, we will need some information about the system specs of it.

Dell XPS 9100
Intel Pentium 4, 3GHz
500GB SATA
Radeon videocard of sorts
2x512 RAM sticks

Don't know everything because he's too lazy to look up the model numbers.

is it showing an error message. We will need morre information than this to fix your friends computer.

Do the fans in the system spin freely?? Are they free of dust??

Does the computer get to the POST screen??

Try safe mode or last known good configuration, by tapping F8 during the initial stages of boot

You're not really giving us much to work with. You simply said the computer was broken. There were no error messages of any kind? And the computer won't boot, that seems very unusual. Have you installed any new hardware or software recently?
