SCSI Astra 1200S Scanner

I have the scanner in title. It worked great with W95, but I was wondering if it could be converted to an USB? I've tried an adapter that went from a SCSI I to SCSI II and then plugged in a SCSI II converter to USB. Don't know if this is possable for the computer and programs to recognize it or not. So far no luck. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas. The reason I'd like to get it going is - it has a 17 inch bed.

SCSI Astra 1200s scanner

Thanks Linderman,
I tried a pci to SCSI and it worked a little, but kept having conflicts with other programs. The sound blaster card was one of them. I'd tried different IRAs, but couldn't get them to work. I believe the card is an Adeptec 2906 PCI card, it has the right pin config in it. The scanner has an DB 25 F pin receptical. I looked on the sight you gave for a DB 25 F Pin SCSI to PCI and didn't find one. This may never work, but I keep trying.
Thanks

Yes I'd changed slots. I may have changed mother boards sinse then. I'll probably try finding the USB again and if it doesn't work, try the card again. When I had the card in it showed up 7 times in the device manager. the software or dirvers gave me fits also. I would have to go into the registry and disable something. I still have the instructions somewhere. What software do you use with your 1200S?
