display problem

hi every one

The screen becomes sort of colourless. (i.e,colours like red etc 'll not be recognizable.)All colors are there but still the screen appears some what faded.
After some time the normal condition is restored.i.e,the monitor keeps switching between these conditions

(to give u the screenshot of the problem ---if you look at the red hat logo the hat appears black or so)

i need your help in fixing this weird sort of problem
thank you

Hi,
have you tried using a different monitor?
Check the cable connections for dust, and try using a different monitor cable.
Please post your system specs. Use this thread: http://www.techsupportforum.com/showthread.php?t=105811
