shutdown problem
i have noticed that my pc shuts down all of a sudden....
i first noticed it when i installed a second HDD. since then after about 2mins into the session it just cuts out. what i did to troubleshoot: 1- power the pc with the case open (to see if it was a overheat problem)...no change 2- changed the psu to a new one i had recently bought....result:...no effect 3- disconnected the 2nd HDD....result:lasted a bit longer but then shutdown after a while 4- removed and reaplied the cpu thermal paste...............no luck!! any suggestions? Intel Havre D845HV P4 1.8GHz 2x 512MB SDRAM 1st HDD: maxtor 20GB 2nd HDD:IBM 40GB OS: Server2003
