no power
Even after replacing the power supply and plugging it back in, my computer will not power on. Any suggestions on what else I could try before lugging it to a repair shop? Thanks!

Greetings aamich, and Welcome to TSF!
To properly deal with your issue, it would help us greatly if you would please post your system specs, using the guideline in my signature, and post them back here, including any sound/video cards that might be installed. Also, could you please tell us how old the machine is, and whether is is made up of 'new' or aged' components?

Follow the wire from the front case switch to the mobo pins, remove the connector and try touching the two pins witha screwdriver to test the case switch. or just see this article by zazula. it includes pictures of the above and is excellent.
